Mzansi is currently on a national lockdown as it's starting to seem like an alcohol detox season for some.

The sale of liquor is currently prohibited in the country and some people were fortunate enough to stock up on their favourite beverages before the lockdown went into effect.

However, almost two weeks into the lockdown most people have run out of stock and are getting thirsty.

A report by Business Insider has alleged that SA liquor makers have requested the ban on alcohol to be lifted and have liquor sold during the lockdown.

Anele Mdoda had this to say about it.

Some people are here for the decision, however, some are already experiencing withdrawal symptoms.

Some ladies in Mzansi are even calling for alcohol to be closed permanently as alcohol comes first to their boyfriends.

Others are already asking ama2000 for the sprite recipe, however, some are enjoying the time away from booze and have already noted the positive of life without alcohol.
