Gareth Cliff is known for his very strong radio personality. He began his radio career on 702 and then later joined the breakfast show on 5FM. Even on his radio shows he had a rather strong and sometimes very controversial personality which would get him into some spots of trouble. Gareth Cliff was also a judge on M-Net's Idols South Africa but came under some fire for a tweet he posted which ended up in his suspension from the show. He still can be heard on the radio but under his own show instead.
