Cassper Nyovest’s album drop for Any Minute Now has his fans instigating a comment from AKA, who is also known as his arch enemy. The rapper, who appeared to be minding his business on social media whilst the Twitterverse fawned over Cassper, was dragged into their tweets, as they began questioning him on why he has not commented on the album.

One of Cassper’s followers tweeted, “What nice about @AnyMinuteNow is that the whole album is nice and he didn’t even have to mention @akaworldwide to get attention from us…”. Noticing the comment on his timeline, AKA responded with, “Yet here you are mentioning me.” The rapper’s fans ran to his defence, and began attacking the Tweep for trying to refuel the feud between the long-time rivals.

Cassper’s fans once again jumped in, and felt as though AKA was the one to start things back up, by choosing to publicly respond to the hater. Many began calling him for not taking the high road and claimed that he was jumping on Cassper’s train in order to garner some attention. Tshepi tweeted, “And yet you serving the attention”, to which AKA responded with, “Shut up. You sound stupid as hell.”

The rivalry between the two hip hop legends dates back years, as it appears that there cannot be two Kings sitting on the South African music industry thrown. A few weeks ago, as Cassper continued to hype up the album, AKA updated fans on the progress of his projects, which many interpreted as his way of trying to steal Cass’ thunder. AKA has yet to comment positively or negatively on the release of Any Minute Now, leaving fans of both rappers to come up with their own conspiracy theories.
