Ah AKA. It seems we find a way to write about him at least once a week. Last week it wasn't for the best of reasons but this morning we can do nothing else but Congratulate the man after news broke that his upcoming album, Levels has gone number one on iTunes. You're probably thinking "Hey wait, his album isn't out yet!" That's right, it only drops on the 8th of July; making this achievement even more impressive.
Regardless of what issues you may have with a certain artist, sometimes you have to put those feelings aside and give credit where it's due; today is that day for us with regards to AKA.
#LEVELS has been the #1 Hip Hop album on SA ITUNES since it went up for pre order ... Get it today! https://t.co/rnqI5pqYoZ

The album is currently available for pre-order and fans of the Congratulate star have made no secret of their desire to get their hands on the record ever since the July 8th release date was announced. As soon as the album was available for Pre-order the local hip hop heads jumped onto it relentlessly and have been pre-ordering Levels by the hundreds.
The result? Levels has reached number one status on album a full 19 days before it releases in Mzansi; in fact, it's currently outperforming international heavyweights such as Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP 2, Drake's Nothing Was the Same and local boy, Jack Parrow's Nag Van Die Lang Pette.
July is going to be a very interesting month for lovers of local hip hop as we'll not only be seeing AKA's Levels drop, but Cassper Nyovest will be releasing his long anticipated debut record, Tsholofelo.
All we know is that we can't wait to get our hands on both albums to review them for ZAlebs! As an aside, It doesn't matter how much good news you get, Twitter jokers will never give you a break. How hilarious was this AKA Levels parody tweet? If anybody wants to become a professional photoshopper they should probably avoid taking tips from this guy.
I'm also dropping my much anticipated album called #SLEVEL (levels spelt backwards) sorry for the long wait guys pic.twitter.com/zjaEKRDhHI
