TshisaLive reported that the ladies are not paying any attention to the letters of demand issued by BDK Attorneys on behalf of Jackie Maarohanye. When asked about the letter, Masechaba Ndlovu apparently did not even know about the letters, claiming she did not even receive them.

"I have not received any letter of demand and I have no further comment," she told the paper.

Meanwhile, Amanda's team has distanced themselves from this matter. She is currently in Turkey and living her best life.

In the letter, Jackie denies all that was said about her during Amanda's public statement including claims of being a criminal. She also denied using dark magic, saying the ladies were “purposely misguiding members of the public by stating and/or implying that our client is a criminal, our client was involved in unsavoury and fraudulent dealings with Oprah, that our client has some hold over her son and that our client practices with muti”.

“Our client denies she was involved in your relationship with her son and that she deals with or has ever dealt with muti,” a part of the letter read, as quoted by the publication.

Jackie also denied claims made by Arts and culture department spokesperson Masechaba Khumalo, who alleged that she was raped by Jub Jub at her house. “Our client denies the allegations levelled against her.”

The 48 hours that were given for both the actress and public figure to respond to the letter by removing their social media posts and publicly apologise to her, have passed.

Jub Jub apologised to Amanda for speaking to her in that distasteful manner on Podcast and Chill, but stuck to his guns, saying he never raped her.

"I have taken some time to re-watch the interview and reflect on my words specifically my exchange with MacG regarding Ms Amanda Du Pont."

He says he regrets discussing their bedroom affairs in public: "It was inappropriate for me to discuss the intimate details of my relationship with Ms Du Pont in public. I deeply regret the incident.

"I also apologize to my fans and the public for the inappropriate language I used during the interview.

"With regards to the accusations levelled against me by Amanda and others I have decided to make a room for the law to take its course and I request the media and the public to do the same," he concluded.

He too has taken legal action, “Molemo and his management team would not leave the claims unattended and have since taken a decision to serve Amanda du Pont, Maschaba Khumalo, Refilwe Khumalo and Bonokuhle Nkala with letters of demand with clear instructions that they should retract the unfounded allegations made against him, and ultimately apologise for their claims.

“Failure to adhere to the instructions will see our son, who like any South African citizen whose constitutional rights has been infringed, go the legal route to clear his name," said family spokesperson Andile Ngcobo.
