Bonang Has No Time for Ntsiki's "Nonsense"

Bonang wasn't here for Ntsiki's Woolies jab

Ntsiki Mazwai messed with the wrong one this week when she tried to call out Woolworths over their lack of black-owned/black-made products. In doing so, she seemed to throw shade (whether deliberate or not) in Bonang's direction and let's just say the Queen wanted to have a word...

Ntsiki Mazwai is a lover of all things black but sometimes her pro-black love can come across as anti-white (#LeanneManas). So when she decided to take on Woolworths, Mzansi's favourite bougie grocery chain, perhaps her very pro-black heart was in the right place. However, it came across as an attack to a very successful black person who is currently working with Woolies - the one and only Lebonza.

It all began with Ntsiki questioning whether Bonang owns the rights to all of the merchandise and products she sells for Woolworths; notably Bonang's MCC, BNG and her lingerie line Distraction. Ntsiki wrote,

"I once asked....does Bonang OWN the distraction line and house of BNG or is it her name Woolworths is using? Because yazi I'm seeing Mihlali"

This line of questioning sparked a lot of outcry on the timeline as tweeps wondered aloud if Ntsiki was simply hating on another successful woman, or if she was raising pertinent questions about the inner workings of our entertainment industry.

Ntsiki went on to suggest that Woolies had "no black products" and that Bonang was being used as a smokescreen. Tweeps didn't take well to this either:

It didn't take long for the questions to make their way to Bonang's timeline and when she did, the Queen B responded as she only knows how: by not giving a damn.

She hit back at Ntsiki by saying:

It looks as if there's nothing else to say on this matter but somehow we think there's going to be another Bonang vs Ntsiki clash in the future.
