It was only a week ago, when all was revealed that two of our GQOM royalty, Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly collaborated on a track with the Queen herself, Beyonce for her Disney, The Lion King: The Gift album.
So of course, the people of Mzansi were and still are excited for these ladies to be waving the South African flag with one of the biggest names in music.
The news filled the streets of Twitter with immediate effect. However, good news doesn't come with some haters, right?
Karabo congratulated Busiswa and Moonchild on their amazing turn on Beyoncé's song, My Power, and a tweep, who goes by the name Tom Udeme @tomju!, tried to rain on her parade by saying Nigeria had more artists on the album.
Was this tweet meant to ignite competition between two fellow African countries? We think not.
And that's probably why poor Tom got the shock of his life when the people of Mzansi came out, guns blazing ready to attack in the spirit of Ubuntu of course.
We wonder if Tom got our point?
Tom does mention one thing in a tweet that we can all agree on and that is, Africa is winning. East, West, North or South-it's Africa's time to shine, so let's bask in the glow.
