It has been a tumultuous couple of months for rapper Cassper Nyovest. This is as the usually outspoken Twitter personality and Hip-Hop legend has had to stay off his favourite app, Twitter, in light of the multiple tragic passings of his fellow musicians.

First, it was the passing of his arch-nemesis in music Kiernan “AKA" Forbes following the confirmation of his assassination, and tweeps revisiting their almost decade-long beef which defined an era in local Hip-Hop. Thereafter, it was the tragic and untimely passing of Costa Titch.
The dancer-turned-musician had arguably gotten his big break in music by being Cassper’s backup dancer back in the day. However, their relationship soured as Cassper seemed to believe that Costa had chosen AKA to work with, despite the history they shared.
However, it seems that Cassper is slowly returning to his usual clap-back self on the blue app considering his latest antics.
“Get the fvck outta here” Cassper to Panuel
Panuel The Black Pen has had a better week than most. This is as the controversial podcaster had his first ever viral YouTube video, which was the one which featured Vusi Thembekwayo. While the podcast episode might have garnered attention initially for Vusi’s sentiments on Sizwe Dhlomo.
The episode has since been touted as one of the most in-depth and thought-provoking episodes from Penuel as Vusi discussed his sentiments about apartheid being more capable, and his sentiments on the ruling party and the state of the economy.
As such, Penuel felt he could then get involved in Pearl Thusi’s comments on the ongoing social media back and forth between Vusi and Sizwe Dhlomo. This is as Pearl jokingly suggested that the two must just fight it out instead of squabbling on social media.
While it was understood that she was joking, it seems that the only person that did not understand the fact was The Black Pen. This is as he took to Twitter to share his thoughts suggesting that Pearl’s joke was disparaging and would take away from the essence of his popular and viral podcast episode.
As such, he was reminded that this was all a joke. Moreover, even Cassper, who Pearl had asked to organise the boxing match, chose to get involved. This is as he addressed Penual with his latest meme alert letting him know that Pearl’s sentiments were not that deep.
Even Pearl took to Twitter to question why her post was shared on Twitter. Especially given the love-hate relationship that Pearl has with the app, she knows it is best to avoid sharing anything that can be misconstrued as malice on Twitter, similar to how she got dragged for filth for “laughing” at Pabi Cooper.
Pearl was bullied so much at the time that she needed to return to the app in order to share that she had called Pabi and explained herself, and that her actions were not meant with malice. As such, it is understandable why she was weary when her Instagram post was circulated on the app.
