Claire Mawisa fired her first tweet about Father’s Day a day early just so there was no confusion about her feelings and trolls that will try and spoil the day. The ageless media personality told tweeps straight out that if the day was triggering, rather than spend the day trolling Twitter, continue scrolling or just do not log on the app for the day.
With the replies that came to the post, Claire took the time to engage tweeps that might have disagreed with her letting it be known that her tweet was not that deep. Claire’s stance was clear that Father’s Day is about fathers and some single mothers can go overboard claiming the day for themselves.
But that’s not where she left tweeps. Claire later took to Twitter again to suggest a way that healing can happen for single mothers that want to claim the day; therapy.
