From rappers to musicians and other DJs dominating in other genres, musos have acknowledged the effect it has and praised its popularity. The genre saw rapper Cassper Nyovest working on a few tracks with the Scorpion Kings and AKA even giving them a shout-out on his tracks.
Another artist who expressed her love for the genre is Umlilo hit-maker DJ Zinhle. Maphorisa saw this as an opportunity to shoot his shot and get the dance-floor Queen in studio.

When Phori tweeted a screenshot of him and Zinhle during a video call session, fans knew that something big might be coming as Zinhle accepted his invite to join him in studio.

The two have worked together before and had a hit with DJ Zinhle's 'My Name Is' which Phori produced. Now fans are eager to see what the two can do with this new found genre that is dominating the charts.
Meanwhile... The trolling of Kabza continues on social media and the not yet confirmed collaboration between DJ Zinhle and Phori is seen as a way to get Kabza the much needed rest he has been longing for.
