DJ Sbu has caused a stir this fine election day after he broke the rules and tweeted a picture of his ballot. The outspoken DJ has never had any issue with sharing his affiliation towards the ANC, however his actions today might be viewed as the actions of a man who has gone too far. His ballot is available for the world to see and it's no surprise to see that the Friends Like These voted for the ANC in both the provincial and the national elections.
DJ Sbu's actions could be deemed as patriotic but they could land him in hot water as taking a pictures of one's ballot is criminal offence that could earn the star a 1 year prison sentence or a hefty fine. To make matters worse, the entertainer has ignored all requests to take the pictures down; this has prompted a troop of supporters to stand by Sbu's side and post their own ballot selfies.
