Mrs. Mohosana posted images of them promoting the fragrance and her followers were stunned by her saying, "My Husband and I are all for making a statement. This is why @finesse_scent is our fragrances of choice. it's all about the #TheFinalStatement for us," she wrote and added wedding emojis.

This comes after she confirmed in her reality show that they have been married for 6 months.

Her followers all gushed over her usage of the word 'my husband", labeling them as couple goals.

On the first season of The Unexpected, DJ Zinhle revealed that her lobola negotiations were done 6 months ago.

"Bongani wants to be served [as a] husband. He doesn’t want to be called boyfriend anymore. There has been a lot of change since you guys last saw me,” she said. “Bongani and his family came to my mom’s house to negotiate lobola. And we decided that it should be a small thing, with just family,”  she added.

She acknowledged that she never wanted to get married and said this repeatedly in the first season of The Unexpected.

“I just never had ambitions to get married. I never wanted it, I never felt like I was with anyone I wanted to marry but Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it thinking about what we want to do.”

DJ Zinhle said she is excited to be a wife and loves sharing the news with people.

“I’m excited to be his wife, I’m excited to try something I never would have thought would happen for me. So now I’m married and I love telling people that.”

Zinhle also once spoke about she and Murdah met. “I remember the one time; I think a year ago when I got a DM [direct message] from Murdah Bongz. And when I read this message it said, ‘I like you a lot’. And then I read and thought, ‘I win, he likes me’,” Zinhle said admitting that she thought it was a mistake.

In their collaboration with Drip, the were chosen because they encompass what Drip stands for seeing how they are both go-getters. Drip entered the fine fragrance business with the introduction of Finesse. It is said to be a his and hers collection that consists of Arion and Ruby. They both retail for R599.

In a statement to TshisaLIVE, the couple said much like Drip, they too have an excellent love story to tell.

“We both love a phenomenal success story, especially a South African story. For us, the Drip brand embodies black excellence and business owners. We are inspired by the work they are doing to expand their portfolio with Finesse.”

Lekau Sehoana who is the CEO of Drip also added a few words, “They are recognised individually for being standout musicians with statement fashion trends and together as a dynamic love duo. We chose Murdah Bongz and DJ Zinhle as Drip Finesse muses because they both embody the essence of the brand and the scents,” he said.

“At The Drip Group  we are always looking at innovating the brand to make the future a reality, and this is how Finesse was born. Through our meticulous dedication to collaboration, we have created this range and we're proud to introduce two new perfume trendsetters across the country. ”
