The entertainment industry is notorious for long-standing feuds among creative practitioners, and for not being authentic as many think it is. On our TV screens, we often see artists being tight-knit and celebrating each others achievements, but behind the scenes there is drama!

Some creatives do not shy away from expressing their opinions about how the industry is, and have boldly said that, it is not for the faint-hearted.

They say it's hard to find true friendship because some creatives are just fake.

Over the years rumours have gained momentum that Durban-based Gqom musicians Biggie and Dladla Mshunqisi are beefing. This was due to the fact that they both sound the same vocally, so it was speculated that Dladla was annoyed by this.

Probably homeboy thought stakes were very high because some would even be confused, referring to Biggie as Dladla.

Speaking to Sunday World recently, Biggie refuted the claims that he and the musician are frenemies, he said: “Dladla and I are most definitely not the industry frenemies. We have a genuine and long-standing friendship and brotherhood relationship dating as far back as 2007,” said Biggie.

“More to the friendship, we discovered that we share even the same surname from our maternal sides, which sealed our bond even more.” Said Biggie speaking to Sunday World.

Now can we stop speculating that the two are enemies peeps.
