The Twitter streets are never short of drama. Following @moe_suttle’s tweet about Rea Gopane treating Bonang like she is Dr Malinga, the hitmaker didn’t take kindly to the disrespect and issued a scathing clap back.

Moe tweeted, “I want Bonang to go lower. That Rea boy is behaving like he’s dealing with the likes of Dr Malinga.”
The Via Orlando hitmaker quickly called him to order and informed him that de doesn’t sue – he’ll beat him up. “Boy boy nna byanong I don't Sue papi, ka trapa I'm sure you're familiar with kicks right, entlek send location fast.”
This follows YouTuber Rea Gopane’s comments about Bonang on the 'The Rea and Black Step Podcast' on the 9th of May 2021. He boldly claimed that Scoop told them that Bonang had introduced AKA to drugs. "Scoop told us that AKA is on coke, and Bonang is the one that got him into cocaine. Scoop told us that, bro, after the interview we had him right here at this place."
Bonang’s lawyers sent Rea a letter after he failed to share his e-mail address. In case you haven’t seen the letter, it reads as follows:
"On Sunday 9 May 2021, you falsely and unlawfully accused Bonang Matheba in a widely published video clip of, inter alia, having introduced AKA (Kieran Jarryd Forbes) to cocaine. In the context of what was being discussed in the video clip, this defamatory allegation was exacerbated by the shocking insinuation that the death of AKA's girlfriend Anele (Nellie) Tembe was due to AKA's alleged use of cocaine.
"The allegations were defamatory, hurtful and were deliberately intended to humiliate my client and undermine her reputation. The allegations are also, to your knowledge false. Your false utterances are compounded by the fact that at the time of making them on a public platform, you knew full well that these utterances would be widely viewed given my client's high public profile.
"To this end, I am instructed to demand from you, payment of the sum of R500,000 within 10 days. Should this sum not be paid within the time prescribed, I have instructions to issue summons without further notice to you."
This was followed by an apology from the YouTuber. But, it appears he’s dug an even deeper grave for himself. Read about it here.
