Last week, DA leader Helen Zille took to Twitter to announce that she had been bitten by a rat - she even went so far as to upload a photo of her toe for everyone to see!
Helen was fetching the newspapers from her gate when a rat darted out from nowhere and nipped her on the toe. Ouch!
