When e.tv’s flagship drama series, Imbewu first got flighted on South African television, it didn’t create much traction. However, after a few months of being on air, sizzling storylines and performances from actors helped catapult the show to an impressive three million viewership.
After tonight’s episode, the show’s popularity and numbers might shoot up the roof.
On Wednesday morning, ZAlebs and a few other media practitioners were hosted to a private screening of tonight’s edition of Imbewu: The Seed. The premise of the show accumulates quite dramatically and we are confident that staunch viewers will be left begging for more.

Performances from the likes of MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo) and Zimele (Tony Kgoroge) will leave many viewers on the edge of their seats as the real paternity of the Bhengu siblings is revealed.
However, there is one other character that will certainly bring the house down – KaMadonsela. This character is portrayed by the multi-talented, Fundiswa Zwane. Her delivery will show a rather emotional side of this usually strong force of a character.
At this morning’s event, we spotted some of the cast members including Leleti and Thembi Mtshali.
