Amapiano sensation Sir Trill has shaken the social media streets as he reveals of being exploited. Sir Trill details how he has not seen or received a cent from some of his hit songs, including collaborations and music videos.

In a time where mental health, depression, and anxiety are still seen as another pandemic that is eating away from artists and musicians. All the suicide cases of artists have been attributed to both mental health and depression.
For another artist to cry out loud about going through a mentally draining and challenging issue is very alarming. Sir Trill took to Twitter to voice some of his grievances with the status of his music. Sir Trill talks about not even getting a dime from many of his hit songs
"It’s tiring and mentally damaging. So many hits and I’ve never seen a cent. I’m tired," wrote Sir Trill.
While this was his plea to take a much-needed hiatus as he comes to terms with the status quo of his music career. It seems that some social media users used his silence to create a harmful trend.
Is Sir Trill alive?
In light of Sir Trill affirming that he was taking a break from Twitter in light of his mental crisis. The John Wick vocalist also deleted or archived all his posts on Instagram and went mute on Facebook. As a result, it seems that some Facebook users then alleged that the musician has committed suicide in light of his recent Twitter rant.
However, the general public seemed quick to ensure that the matter is verified ahead of actually believing the reports. More so as they were from Facebook. Hence the matter was quickly transposed to Twitter for verification. However, since the matter has been placed on Twitter there has been no confirmation of the reports. A fact that has led to many believing this was yet another death hoax perpetrated on social media.
Sir Trill would not be the first Amapiano vocalist that has been the subject of a death hoax recently. Pabi Cooper in November 2022 had to squash similar reports from unverified social media users. As reported at the time:

This follows after a malicious Facebook user who goes by the name of Stash T Woods, created panic online after he posted “RIP Pabi Cooper.”
Sadly, celebrity death hoaxes can create panic and leave many people in a state of shock, and they are harmful to friends, family, and fans. Fans were in disbelief and shocked by the death hoax. Pabi took to her Instagram account to react to the fake rumours about her demise and debunked them
She pleaded with people to stop the harmful rumours “I’m alive, people need to stop their nonsense on Facebook,” she wrote.
