Ishmael Morabe is one of the most long-lasting musicians of our generation, after blessing us with a number of hits in the past, Ishmael's sudden hiatus from the music industry hit his fans the hardest. However, the Roba Le Teka hitmaker has seemingly returned with another hit.
Ishmael Morabe has managed to reinvent himself, with his musical evolution spanning as far as the 90’s, the musician is still going strong, using different genres like Hip-hop, Kwaito, RnB and gospel throughout his journey, showing off the flexibility of his talent that has undoubtedly maintained his longevity.
This week, Morabe was the topic of discussion on social media after he uploaded videos teasing to his next single called Takalene - which is a sample of the Takalani Sesame theme song.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE in a recent interview, Morabe said that he felt that the reason why he has always been able to make a come back in music, was that he used music for motivation.
"I don't know why I always bounce back as far as music goes but I think it's because I'm highly motivated. Music itself motivates me. Every time I listen to new music and new artists doing different things it fascinates me and helps me always want to create something new as well."
