Katlego Danke Mum On Rumours That She's Expecting Patrice Motsepe's Child

Gomora actress Katlego Danke has remained mum on rumors that she is expecting a child with South African mining tycoon Patrice Motsepe.

The businessman is married to Dr. Precious Moloi, a physician and fashion entrepreneur. They have three children. Motsepe is the founder and CEO of African Rainbow Minerals (ARM,) owner of Mamelodi Sundowns F.C, and founder of Ubuntu-Botho Investments, is also the current president of the Confederation of African  Football (CAF.)

According to MDN News, Katlego and Motsepe are allegedly expecting their second child together.

The reports have resulted in the Gomora actress topping the Twitter trends list with some tweeps praising her for allegedly carrying Motsepe's child since he is a billionaire while others have lashed out at her for allegedly being a homewrecker.

The actress has not reacted to the allegations, nor has Motsepe. It is no secret that the former Generations actress is one of Mzansi's private celebs and she manages to keep her relationship out of the prying eye of the public.

Tweeps have defended Katlego in light of the rumors.

@LizaNjee tweeted, "I've learnt to stop insulting women for decisions men make on this earth. She is no homewrecker, Patrice is. Katlego ain't the one cheating and married on the wife, the guy is. Start blaming the right people, the ones who make decisions on their own marriages."
@BrendaWardle, tweeted "Why is Katlego Danke catching all the bullets, uzimithisile? We don't know what's happening over there. It's none of our business, and perhaps, people must start focusing on the fact that misattributed paternity might be as high as 1:5. Please just stare in the review mirror!
Others have dragged her for filth.

@joy_zelda tweeted, "Katlego Danke a disgrace she been Praised in SA for been a Homewrecker to Dr Precious Moloi Motsepe marriage by even falling Pregnant 🤰 twice for Patrice Motsepe celebrities don't want to be independent they want rich lavish lifestyle by dating wealthy men to sustain them sies."
Other tweeps have rubbished the rumors as fake news and they are not entertaining the rumours.

@HappyHun_Puleng, "If you still don’t believe that people get paid to defame people after this perfect eg. off Bought trolls spreading malicious lies about Katlego Danke being pregnant with Patrice Motsepes twins unprovoked to tarnish both their images. Then I don’t know what will convince you?!

In 2022, Daily Sun reported that the actress was pregnant. According to the publication the actress who portrays Thathi Ndaba in Mzansi Magic's award-winning telenovela Gomora, made things difficult for the writers as they had to incorporate her pregnancy into the storyline.

A source told the Daily Sun that the cast was aware that Katlego was pregnant. “It’s an open secret. The Gomora cast is already aware of it. Judging from her baby bump, she’s halfway through,” said a source.

“According to her new script, Phumlani, played by Buyile Mdladla, is the baby daddy," the source added. 

“She has only informed a few people, including the producers so that they could incorporate her pregnancy into her script,” said another source.

“By now viewers might have noticed unexplained mood swings from Thathi. She’s been acting strange and throwing tantrums. This is not a coincidence. The writers are trying to introduce Thathi’s new storyline.”

This will be Katlego’s second baby because she gave birth to her son - now three years old - in 2017.
