Photographer and plus size sensation, Lesego " Thick Leeyonce" Legobane is about to be featured in U.S publication, Teen Vogue, after putting a tweep in his place for trying to body shame her.
The wellness editor of the International magazine reached out to the model on Twitter and had Leyonce in tears (of joy) following her request. This invitation then prompted other international publications and TV channels to hop on the bandwagon.
If you follow the young photographer then you know she's not one to be quiet about any sort of negativity, especially when it comes to body shaming.
The popular celebrity photographer made her name in the industry not only through her work but also through her confidence and support of all women, mostly those of a larger size. The photographer who doubles as a plus size model is notorious for being confident in her body and never shies away from an opportunity to show it off and serve us with all sorts of confidence.
The tweep known as Leyton Mokgerepi thought he was dragging the beauty but in actual fact, he dragged her straight into the right hands and well unto prosperity.
Check out the four-word reply that got her an interview with the one and only Vera Papisova who is the wellness editor of Teen Vogue as well as a feature on notorious gossip site, PerezHilton.com. This is surely the first of many interviews to follow.
Her response to the tweep was simple yet so powerful. Both local and international personalities like Sizwe Dhlomo as well as artists like Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande even showed her some love and liked her tweet.
She has even been on skype all morning doing various interviews with American TV chanels. Tweeps , friends and family have since taken to social media to congratulate her and stand by her.
See some of the tweets below.
She is so overwhelmed by all the love she has been receiving.
Big ups to you Lee. Keep putting these mediocre body shamers in their place!
