Musician Makhadzi has been having a rather unpleasant few weeks.

Just last month she was lamenting being snubbed again by the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), leaving her fans very livid. The Murahu hitmaker, in a tweet, explained that she did submit her music for selection for the 27th SAMAs taking place in August, but she did not bag a single nomination once again.

A few weeks later she found herself trending after an old video resurfaced where she is seen inappropriately touching and fondling one of her male audience member's nether regions. The video caused an uproar, with some tweeps calling for her to be cancelled. Their biggest concern was the fact that it was not clear if the fan gave the musician consent to touch him in that manner, therefor labeling it sexual harassment. However, her fans were not having any of that, as some were of the opinion that influencers were paid to tarnish the star's name and image. They were adamant that there will be no canceling of their fave.

Now, another video is doing the rounds and it is an infuriating one. Although not mentioned when it was shot, it appears it may have been at the weekend. The short clip shows the singer performing on stage when suddenly a bottle of beer comes flying her way - it appears to have hit her on her head. Makhadzi is seen doing hand gestures, asking if someone just threw something at her. Shortly after, she says goodbye to her fans and leaves the stage in the middle of her performance.

On a positive note, the much-talked about #celebrityboxing initiated by Cassper Nyovest may also see Makhadzi battle it out in the ring with one of our ZAlebs.

She expressed her desire to take part in these matches, asking her fans if the matches were only open to male celebrities or are female celebrities also allowed to take part as she’s been yearning to teach a certain someone a hard lesson.

“So is this boxing Boxing glove for males only or what? .. I have this 1 girl I need her on boxing ring before I can drop new songs. Good morning”

Responding to some of the tweets, the hitmaker told her followers to stop calling her a man and that the only males she could challenge are King Monada and Jerusalema (we’re assuming she's referring to her ex, Master KG).

"Do you see me? Are you seeing a man? So stop saying I must fight with man Man the only man I can challenge is @monada and Jerusalema .#CelebrityBoxing"
