Just recently, social media influencer Mihlali Ndamase took to her social media to celebrate with her fans that she had just bagged the South Africa Social Media Award in the category of Social Media Personality Of The Year.

And while many have taken to her comment section to congratulate her and affirm that she was well deserving of the award, others seem to not be so pleased with this new achievement. Jealous are we?

On her Twitter, unimpressed tweets have taken to ask what criteria was used to pick the winner because apparently, someone else would have made a better fit for them. Mihlali was up for the award with other social media influencers like Zozibini Tunzi and Rich Mnisi.

Not only that, it seems some don’t know Mihlali Ndamase! Yes, your reaction is the same as mine. I mean who doesn’t know this queen? Are they serious or are they just hating?

Good news though, Mihlali’s fans have gone ahead to shut down these hating tweeps and it is good to see that this YouTube sensation still has fans having her back.

If you remember, this is not the first award Mihali has been nominated for this year. Just the other day, the content creator was nominated alongside Boity Thulo and Lasizwe Dambuza for the People’s Choice Award. And even though none of them got to bring the award home, fans are happy to see that she finally got to add another trophy on her shelf.

But even as Mihlali continues to make big waves on her famous Youtube channel and her well curated Instagram, it seems this socialite has decided to take a more controversial side on her Twitter. Just recently she took to her Twitter account to mock those who use “muthi” in order to keep a man.

In her tweet, Mihlali was clear that she would never be that desperate to have a man by her side. Well, whether to believe her or not is up to you because Mzansi was still raising eyebrows at her revelation.

And as if that is not enough, in a similar fashion, Mihlali also once asked her tweeps if they could come together and quit drinking. And while yes, she did not specify stop drinking what exactly, tweeps were quick to shut her down, clearly vexed by her suggestion.
