Just recently, Mzansi was shocked to learn that media personality Minnie Dlamini and her husband Quinton Jones, were announcing their divorce. 

Sharing a statement on her social media, Minnie announced why the two were deciding to call it quits, not failing to mention that their difficult decision will not affect their son in any way.


As you can already imagine the news has rippled through Mzansi and now trolls and naysayers have taken the chance to put Minnie under public scrutiny. 

Despite her request for privacy even as she and her family try to figure out how to move forward, Black Twitter has given all that a deaf ear and decided to do what it does best. 

And after her interview with radio presenter Anele Mdoda on how the journey of becoming Mrs Jones began has recently resurfaced, let’s just say that it’s not looking good for Minnie.

In the interview she had mentioned that she and Quinton had not gone for marriage counseling mainly because the nature of their relationship was quite different from other newlyweds.


The news of their divorce is still hot on everyone’s lips and now Minnie is being put under fire for it all. According to tweeps, it’s a shame that Minnie and Quinton had to spend all that money for their wedding only for it to come to an end. 

Others have even gone on to say that this is all Minnie’s fault, asking if they should expect an Unbecoming Mrs Jones show now that she had made many believe that all was well in her marriage.


Her fans have of course shown up in numbers to rubbish and shut down these trolls saying that it is unfair that Minnie has to be dragged and yet she is going through one difficult time. For some they don’t understand why she had to share the news on social media.
Black Twitter seems to think that all celebrities like to do is share matters of their private lives on social media and then get angry when people react in such a negative way. 

Still there is no denying that it still does not justify why tweeps have decided to throw it back on Minnie’s face. 



Even Slik Talk who had taken a back seat after his fight with Cass, has finally emerged with his first video where all he is doing is bashing Minnie’s divorce and all many are left to wonder is, is it really her fault that it didn’t work out?
