Thanks to Mlindo The Vocalist's doctors and his fans' prayers, the musician is recovering well. His team confirmed that he was discharged from the hospital and is ready to hit the stage again.
Last weekend, Mlindo The Vocalist was involved in a car accident after a gig in Durban - which left him with minor injuries.
The Emakhaya song bird underwent surgery on his hand and was hospitalised in order to be monitored. The collision, which his team says was not serious, saw him cancel a few shows. Now that he has been discharged and deemed fit to perform, his supporters will witness the talent on stage this weekend.
Mlindo's manager, Nyiko Bilankulu, spoke to TshisaLive to confirm that the artist has indeed been discharged: "The accident happened last weekend. He was coming from a gig in Durban. It was not that serious, but he asked his followers to pray for him because it required an operation on his hand.
"Everyone is fine. He is recovering and should be good to perform on Friday or Saturday," he assured fans.
Bilankulu said that Mlindo was not alone in the car, he was in fact with him, but he was left unscathed.
"We were together in the car but I wasn’t injured. Doctors just checked me and I was released on the same day. As for Mlindo, his fans should rest assured he will be on stage soon."
