Mpho Wabadimo is the winner of the last season of Big Brother Mzansi. Ahead of her winner, she was considered the underdog as she was competing with fan-favourites Themba Broly and Gershwin “Gash1” Mthombeni.

During her stay at the Big Brother mansion, Mpho was considered as the villain within the cast. However, that did not stop her from garnering a large fanbase. A fanbase which would go to war with other BB housemates’ fan bases on social media.

Specifically, with fellow Big Brother couple, Gash1 and Thato Immaculate’s fanbase. As a result of the ongoing beef between their fanbases, it seems that each housemate has decided to distance themselves from each other in their personal lives. However, it was Mpho Wabadimo, who has gotten slack for confirming this fact.
Mpho Wabadimo on BB housemates: “I blocked each and every one of them”
Before finding mainstream acclaim following her stint on Big Brother, Mpho Wabadimo was already active on YouTube with her own channel. A channel which currently boasts over 62.8k subscribers and over 2.4 million views and counting.
Ahead of her most recent video, Wabadimo had posted Diary Session ⅖. In this edition of the video, Mpho was sharing a life update with her subscribers. As such, it was only a matter of time until she needed to address whether or not she was still friends or had any relationship with her former housemates. More so as she was asked if she would be interested in a reunion episode.
Mpho was quick to make it clear that she was not as she stated in part that:
“I’m not interested in these people. I don’t give zero f**ks of what happens to them. That’s why, literally, I say this all the time, that I personally blocked each and every one of them. Whether we were following each other or not, ‘cause I told myself that, uhm, angifuni into engi-connect-ayo. (Meaning: she does not want anything that connects her to her former housemates).”
Suffice to say, that upon the clip landing on Twitter after being circulated on TikTok first. Tweeps were quick to villainize Wabadimo. This is as they continued to perpetuate suggestions that Wabadimo was the antagonist in the Big Brother house.
However, it did not take long for her fans to prepare their own arsenal against her naysayers. This is as Wabadimo was not the first to confirm having distanced themselves from former housemates. This comes off the back on Gash1 and Thato Immacuate, who have a joint YouTube channel following their marriage, have shared similar sentiments about how they have blocked all their former housemates.
But unlike, Wabadimo who indicated that her decision was based on her experience at the house. Gash1 and Thato seemed to have suggested that their reason for blocking their former housemates on social media was due to the comments and backlash they would receive from their respective fan base on their posts. As such, they wanted to protect their mental health and give themselves the allowance to move on.
