Mzwakhe Mbuli has been painted as an opportunist who uses the funerals of musicians as a means of making money.
Social media is a buzz right now after a man by the name of Thabiso tweeted a thread about Mzwakhe Mbuli, accusing the man of using almost every opportunity he gets to leverage off of famous people's funerals.
From what we gather Thabiso is either Mandoza's brother or a close family member.
Thabiso's first tweet was of him first posting his condolences to Ray Phiri's family after learning of the Jazz musician's passing. After he sent his condolensces all the drama began to unfold, as Thabiso told the rest of Mzansi what he thought of Mzwakhe Mbuli.
Saddened by Oom Ray's passing.Even sadder hearing that Mzwakhe Mbuli is already doing the talking. He's only there to steal money. Trust me.

Thabiso then began speaking about his various encounters with Mzwakhe Mbuli. The first meeting was during a meeting with Mandoza's family as they prepared for his funeral.
Was in 2 family meetings with Mzwakhe Mbuli and his 'legends' cronies at MDZ.They tried to steal every penny, from food, sound, venue hire etc

Thabiso then continued to drag Mzwakhe Mbuli's name through the mud, highlighting him as a thief and scammer.

Part of the scam. They ask the family how they can help(venue hire, food, transport, sound). They then go to Ministers/MEC's to ask for the $$
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
The shock also came when Thabiso revealed that Mzwakhe and his people requested for R70,000 upfront to prepare for Mandoza's funeral.
The Ministers/MEC then give them the $$$..But they keep most of it and pretend they didn't get enough. Family then must start all over again

Mzwakhe wanted 70k to organize sound for MDZ funeral. We(fam) said no cos @ArthurMafokate was offering his sound for free.Mzwakhe threw a fit
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
Mzwakhe and his cronies then dropped their soumd price to 35k. We still said no. They went berserk and went to consult outside. I WAS THERE.

In October last year, Mzwakhe Mbuli and Mandoza's manager were allegedly accused of trying to get an undisclosed amount of money in Mandoza's name after he passed away. Both Mzwakhe and Mandoza's manager called a media briefing to dismiss these allegations against them.
Fast forward to 2017 and Mzwakhe Mbuli has yet again found himself entangled in another funeral scam accusation.
Thabiso continued to hang out Mzwakhe's dirty laundry on social media.
Before going outside Mzwakhe said to his cronies "Asambeni akho Mali la, Uyasbulala u @ArthurMafokate ngento za Mahala"
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
I personally asked Mzwakhe why he would even want a penny to provide sound for a fellow musician. Surely they could provide free like Arthur

And the stories just came rolling in...
Mzwakhe and a guy called Morris Roda told us that had secured S Bank Arena for MDZ memorial. We were relieved until i asked them for proof
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
Day before MDZ memorial they still couldn't provide proof.I drove to SB Arena only to find management hadn't even spoken to them. Was shocked
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
S Bank Arena told me they do this all the time and we should not trust them. That time they'd gone to 3 ministers/mec's asking for 100k each
— Tracksuit (@ThabisoMosia) July 12, 2017
Cut a long story short. We didn't see that 200k. Family once again had to girl out the full 90k for venue hire cos time was running out.

Mzwakhe Mbuli's camp has yet to speak on this matter. They will probably hold a media press conference in the morning tomorrow.
Thabiso continues to place Mzwakhe in a negative light on social media.
So hectic.
