But Nadia Nakai seems to have moved and is happy as a dog mom.

Kaya 959 Breakfast with Dineo and Sol is one of the most popular breakfast radio shows in South Africa. Partly, this can arguably be attributed to the fact that the breakfast show is continually making headlines.

First, it was the matter of Dineo Ranaka allegedly being “man hating” with “main character syndrome” due to her initial on-ai chemistry with Sol Phenduka. But the show seems to have ironed out that matter as even the seating positions between Ranaka and Phenduka have changed for the better, along with their on-air chemistry. 
 
Since then, the show has been the platform to have some of the most topical interviews. Whether it was Moneoa’s official return to the public eye ahead of making headlines after talking about her abusive relationship, or Enhle Mbali speaking on her mental health issues. 
 
For the most part, the show was now getting positive reviews. But it all took it seems was for Ranaka to take leave for the show to enter back into its contentious era. All due to now disgraced but accomplished broadcaster Sammy T. 
 
Kaya 959 and Sammy T remain mum over Nadia backlash
 
Kaya 959 and Sammy T have been the site of criticism recently. This follows after the “awkward” to say the least, interview with rapper and businesswoman Nadia Nakai. It seems that despite Sammy T being a broadcaster with over 30 years of broadcasting experience, proved the point that veterans in radio might just be misogynistic. 
This is as Sammy T, who seemed to not know anything about Nadia Nakai except her scandals, reduced Nakai and her professional career to which man she is currently linked to. From insinuating that Nakai and former record label boss, Cassper Nyovest, might have dated to getting the title of her album wrong.

Tweeps and the general public alike were not happy with having Sammy T at the helm of the interview. So much so that despite the hate she gets on Twitter, listeners thought it better to let Ranaka handle female interviews in the future. 
 
Others gave Sol Phenduka his flowers for “saving” the interview. While Nadia Nakai was lauded over how well she handled the entire situation. While Nakai has not spoken out about her feelings in light of the interview going viral, she has acknowledged the support she has been receiving via social media. 
 
But what comes as disappointing is the fact that Kaya 959 has yet to address the matter with a public statement reflecting on the conduct of Sammy T during the interview. To make matters worse, Sammy T seems to have crawled back to the Kaya 959 basement in light of the backlash instead of confronting it head on. 
 
As we wait, Nakai is currently being a dog mom as boyfriend AKA travels outside the country. This is as she shared the adorable picture of their dogs together at AKA’s home, ready and already excited for the festive season as we all countdown to Christmas.
