Our fave Naomi Campbell was spotted in Cape Town this week, as an honorary speaker at the CNI Luxury Conference. She was alongside the President and CEO of Gucci Marco Bizarri and the editor of Vogue International Suzy Menkes.
The Conference was centered around afro-centric luxury and changing the narrative of Africa in order for the continent to receive the recognition it deserves.
“It’s not about looking at Africa as a trend now that’s a new place to discover. It’s always been untapped and you have to wonder to yourself or whatever companies you have why have you ignored Africa for this long?” proclaimed Naomi. The full video can be found below.

Our local fashion pioneers were also spotted at the conference dressed to the nines.
