Anyone that avidly follows Nomzamo Mbatha's career, must have noted her massive growth and success in the entertainment industry. In an interview with Dudu Khoza on Ukhozi FM, Nomzamo once mentioned that, most of her career endeavours require her to be based in America, thus, she's buying property along those shores.

Sunday Sun reported that Nomzamo has allegedly resigned from the soapie, and is now off to fully pursue her other passions.
Isibaya publicist, Karabo Moroga, however could not confirm Nomzamo's resignation as she said the following: "... I don't have any answers. I'm also in the dark..."
A source that spoke to the publication added the following: "She has a huge following in Isibaya. And the producers are aware of that. But they had to make a decision so the show doesn't suffer and fans are disappointed."
