A tweep tweeted a question asking who is the rudest celebrity in SA and a lot of people started mentioning Ntando Duma, Zenande Mfenyane, and Pearl Thusi amongst many others.
An old video of Ntando insulting a woman after she reprimanded her for parking on a disabled parking surfaced on Twitter and she has been trending since then.
In the video, Ntando says she had a deal with the store that she had gone to, she claims that they allowed her to park there.
Tweeps have called her out for this saying she was rude and disrespectful.
Apologizing for the video, Ntando said she understands that her behavior was unacceptable. she said the matter could have been handled better.
“In light of a recording from last year which has recently surfaced, I would like to apologize unreservedly as I fully understand that my behavior was unacceptable. I have a deep regard for why disabled parking and other facilities exist, ”the statement read.
She said the food store told her to use the disabled parking because she was doing a quick pick up of her food, she added that she did not stop anyone from using the parking spot.
“The decision to park in that bay was not frivolous as I was instructed to park in there by the food establishment, given that this was a quick pick up which did not require me waiting long or leaving the car.
“I at no point refused anyone access to this parking and this was the point I tried to explain to the lady before we had the altercation.”
Ntando concluded her statement by stating that she is not trying to justify her behavior, she said the matter could have been handled better.
“Once again I apologize to everyone who was offended by my actions,” she concluded.
However, tweeps were not impressed by Ntando’s apology, @Cellular said she shouldn’t have acted that way.
“Mina my sister I'm just here for the behavior you pulled, you shouldn't have acted that way, worse while you live with your fans and those that love you watching. You're a role model to others... Act like one and be an example.”
Natasha said she does not believe that the food establishment instructed her to use that parking.
“You were rude to the woman who asked you not to park there and made it about race. You ridiculed those with mental illness. I do not believe the food establishment told you to park in the disabled parking”
