The acclaimed producer and DJ joined in on the social media dragging of Kaizer Chiefs fans following the disappointing loss of the Premier Soccer League to Mamelodi Sundowns. The outspoken and sometimes controversial  personality with his tweets from the first tweet went for the jugular by writing, “What did I say, what did I say? Kaizer Chiefs will not win this league.” He accompanied the tweet with laughing emojis.

The man behind the popularizing of the term, “Mabena,” did not relax with the tweets clearly mocking all Kaizer Chiefs. He went as far as dragging Junior Khanye in his tweets gloating about the loss of Kaizer Chiefs run towards the title at the umpteenth hour.  But  as should have been expected, he also managed to drag DJ Maphorisa during his glee over the of Amakhosi to Amasandawana.
The “Ayabulela” producer took to Twitter and wrote, “Today I will be wearing that tent (that)Maphorisa was wearing so you won’t miss me.” The tent reference refers to DJ Maphorisa’s latest fashion faux pas that had him dragged mercilessly on the tweet streets. Do not know the story? Here is the 4-1-1.
This past week, the “Drip Drip Juluka” hit maker had taken to social media to post another one of what he believed was a fashion-forward look. The look was color-blocking to the umpteenth power. DJ Maphorisa had on a raincoat that had more colors than the color-wheel and accessorized the look with an oversized, red leather handbag. Safe to say that Twitter did not spare him any slack and dragged him so much, he actually tweeted that he prefers Instagram to Twitter.

Prince Kaybee that has a long and sordid history with DJ Maphorisa joined in on the Twitter roasting of DJ Maphorisa on the day. He not only referred to his outfit as a tent then, but shared DJ Maphorisa’s posts that clearly came from a place of hurt with laughing emojis on his timeline. DJ Maphorisa that usually has come backs, even let the digs slide because that outfit had not excuse.
It seems that DJ Maphorisa has run out of come backs this time around too, because instead of having a comeback he has kept mum on the drag by Prince Kaybee. But it might also be a good thing, because a Kaizer Chiefs supporter that attempted to defend the team got clapped back with a, “sub a weak.”
