Actor Rapulana Seiphemo is said to have resigned from SABC 1 popular soapie Generations The Legacy.
Earlier this month it was announced that the legendary actor would be joining popular Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen leaving many wondering about his role as Tau Mogale on Generations.
A report by Sunday World revealed that Rapulana had spoken to Morula Pictures the producers of Generations: The Legacy to allow him to join The Queen.
The actor allegedly had a year left on his three-year contract at the long-running soapie and there were plans in place to keep him around for longer.
Producers of Generations: The Legacy were allegedly "shocked by the actor’s request to leave because they had expected him to ask about his contract extension," a source told the publication.
Well, it seems that the actor and the producers of Generations were able to reach a mutual agreement after weeks being in a "contractual dispute" for weeks.
Rapulana according to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has resigned from the soapie and his last appearances will be in October.
Generations: The Legacy fans though can expect the return of Letoya Makhene as her beloved role of Tshidi Phakade after leaving the show a year ago.
