Award winning rapper Rouge has a mouthful to say to all her haters who judge her music based on the way she looks, the rapper took to social media saying that she is addressing the matter for the very last time.
The rapper tweeted that she understood the importance of her image an artist, but wants her fans to not make it the key focus saying:
"Now I know image is NB but, please ask yourself this...are you staring at us when you're listening to our music and does it make our music sound better miraculously and are you buying tickets to just watch us or enjoy our set.. are you even supporting us a musician at all?"
Rouge went on to add that she does not want support from anyone who thinks that her image, is the core of her craft.
"...so-called fans who like us cause of how we look or don't like us because of how we don't look. Kindly f**k off." she said.
And just when we thought she was done, Rouge posted a video saying that her music has nothing to do with her image saying:
"I would like to dedicate this video to everybody who is involved in the conversation of Best Female and feel that it is based on how we look and that it plays such a major key. I would like to say: f**k you! I mean that from the bottom of my soul, f**k you so much, to the depth of my soul."
Rouge went on to add that the way she decides to dress her hair - for however long - will not affect her music as she will still slay the bars.
"I just want guys to know that if I want to keep this hair until I am like 105, I will. If I want to wear something that covers me from neck to the friggin bottom of my soul, I will. Guess what is going to happen? Nothing. My music is still going to slay. My bars are still going to be absolute fire, whether you like it or not. Until that changes, f**k you." she said.
