Samkelo Ndlovu is one of the most popular media personalities in South Africa, the actress has been in the entertainment industry for several years and she is without a doubt one of the most sought-after faces in TV. We first met the beauty when she bagged a role on Zone 14 and since then, she has been on various shows.
In a recent interview on Afternoon Express, the actress shared her #MeToo story, for the first time, the starlet opened up about being sexually harassed by a famous director when she was breaking into the industry, "It really only happened to me once and it's not something that I have shed light on or wanted the spotlight to be on me about because I just really wanted people to know me for my work, this whole casting couch thing where 'if you want this role, wink, wink'. I must have been 21. It must have been back during Generations, Zone 14 times and he is a well-known director right now. I was in danger because we were alone in the room but my reflexes were better than his," she explained.

She then went on to say that she remembers that day, "I just remember that day. I remember calling my agent crying and saying to her, 'this is what happened. I can't believe that he did this'. He didn't touch me or do anything but the suggestiveness of it really just hit home because its like, hey, I am a professional actress, how dare you?!"
Samkelo is not the first actress to open up about being sexually harassed, a couple of months ago, Nokuthula Ledwaba shared her story.
