The Afternoon Express TV presenter commented on Madjozi's tweet claiming that the John Cena singerhas a ghost writer. Twitter Iyah!
But Sho Madjozi did not take that comment lying down. She came right back with a smackdown of a reply.
"You have to reflect on why you think a young African woman can't write for herself. Don't know if it's internalized racism sexism or what? I have a degree in African studies and creative writing, and also you don't know me, so this is very weird", she said.
twitter Iyah!
Bonnie Mbuli then returned to her own timeline to further subtweet Sho Madjozi. "It’s so obvious when your mainstream faves are tweeting think threads on current issues written by their PR team," she wrote.
Of course Tweeps came to Madjozi's defence because wow mntase, why so sour?
@PhathuMusitha reminded us that Sho Madjozi was actually a poet before the mainstream knew her so she is quite capable of writing her own thought-provoking words, contrary to Bonnie's belief.
