Simphiwe Dana has finally issued a public apology to Mnakwethu host and self-proclaimed polygamist, Musa Mseleku. The award-winning musician and feminist Simphiwe Dana, has seen the error in her ways, which according to her were clouded by her personal feeling of the treatment of women on the show.

According to Times Live, the songstress issued a statement that said; "I have watched a few episodes of Mnakwethu in disbelief over the past few weeks. As a feminist, the emotional abuse and humiliation of women on the show really hurt and angered me greatly. As a result, I personalised that anger and took it out on Musa Mseleku."

"I unreservedly apologise for this. For any hurt I have caused him, I am truly sorry - and I believe there is another, less harmful way from all parties affected, that this conversation can be had."
According to Times Live, Musa Mseleku, the host of the show was initially unbothered by the singer's remarks but later felt that her personal attacks on him and his manhood were irreconcilable. His demand for an apology comes after Mzansi Magic also issued a statement to defend their show and the host, Mseleku also defended the show citing that Mzansi is too 'westernised' to appreciate the message of the show, he later changed his mind and demanded an apology from the singer or else.

This seems to have put an end to the potential face-off between these two celebrities... for now.
