Durban socialite and reality star Tha Simelane has issued an apology to Babes Wodumo and the public after accusing her of taking cocaine during their Instagram live interview.
The emotional interview had both Tha and Babes in tears as Babe spoke of how things have changed in her life since becoming famous.
Whilst the interview was emotional what made the interview trend is that at the end of the interview, Tha said Babes allegedly took cocaine and he saw her doing so during the live.
In the video, Tha said "Babes won't change. I love you guys, she took cocaine whilst I was watching her with the people, I love her to bit but she won't change" said Tha.
Speaking to TshisaLive Babes Wodumo's PR Manager Nondumiso Simelane, set the records straight that Babes did not take any cocaine.
Tha in his statement apologised for Thursday's interview which "was suppose to be fun and vibrant, unfortunately, it ended in tears".
"It was never my intention to cause any malicious damage relating to her brand. I was emotional and I take full responsibility for my actions, as a host and a close friend, I should have handled it way better. I am sincerely sorry to Babes Wodumo," said Tha in his statement.
