“I do miss the discipline," said Trevor to Stephen. "I do miss the joy that came from cracking that nut every single day, but I don't miss the grind,” he continued.
“I remember there was one Met Gala after-party I was at. You’re at this event, it’s amazing everyone’s having a good time, you know there’s people dancing, there’s Rihanna, there’s Harry Styles and I’m in a corner like, ‘Is the filibuster tomorrow? What’s happening tomorrow?
“Making a daily Television show in many ways is like planning for a wedding. So, you’re thinking, ‘Who are the guests? What are you going to wear? What’s going to happen? Who’s going to be making a toast, and what will the speeches be about? What’s everybody eating, who’s sitting where? How’s it all going — and then the wedding happens, and then you go, ‘Alright, we’re doing another wedding tomorrow,'” Noah said.
Another massive achievement for Trevor Noah was hosting music's biggest night in a house full of A-listers and wowed the world. He hosted The 65th Grammy Awards, which were live on Sunday February 5 at the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles in the United States, for the second time in a row.
Taking to Instagram, Trevor reflected on what it was like hosting for the second time in a row and thanked viewers for tuning in.
“Wow! What a night! A huge thank you to everyone that attended or watched from home! My mind is still trying to process everything that happened! Congrats to all the winners and nominees!! Music’s biggest night is truly YOUR night! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world!”
Here's what Tweeps thought of his performance as Grammys host.
I’ve lived in the USA for 42 years. I never ever imagined that in my lifetime I would see a South African hosting the Grammys. Trevor Noah is doing us proud day by day. So are the South African musicians who won a Grammy
