When word got out that Amapiano stars Reece Madlisa and Zuma were apparently involved in a car accident, shock and panic ensued as their fans wished to know if they were safe and sound. Reece Madlisa was the one who posted the wrecked white vehicle which belonged to them, and fans wondered if they were in the car or not.

Now, according to a report by Daily Sun, the duo was NOT in the vehicle. In fact there was nobody in the car except for the driver. Their manager Archie Basile confirmed to the paper that indeed the duo were not in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Their driver who is thankfully safe and came out unscathed was on his way to fetch the Amapiano stars.

“Our bus was in an accident, not us. The driver was in the car alone, but he’s not hurt. Reece and Zuma were not in the car. He was leaving his house to come and fetch us when the accident happened. I know people are worried, but we are all fine, no one was hurt,” Basile said in the statement.

Incidences like this make Amapiano fans very worried every where seeing how the fraternity lost 4 big stars in the genre. They are Killer Kau and Mpura, along with their friends TD and Thando Tot. In the accident, their car collided with a fire fighter's truck and he too lost his life.

Just two months back, Mfana Kah Gogo was also involved in an accident when he travelled to Johannesburg for the first time ever in a plane. He was on his way to sign a recording deal with Sony Music.

Just when the country was starting to come to terms with the passing of the duo, Rea Gopane from his Everything SA Music podcast, made some shocking allegations about their very close friend JazziQ and said he is responsible for their passing.

"The entire entertainment industry looked passed the fact that JazziQ sacrificed Killer Kau and Mpura...for the betterment of his career."

"The day after they died, he went to Ghana..." said Rea then his co-host Blvck Steph, added, "so you think the ritual was done there."

Read then continued and said, "I'm just saying, we re not reading between the lines...the sacrifice is right there and everybody missed it."

He even went as far as saying the Amapiano genre is in fact a secret society. Reacting to these claims, JazziQ first warned him on Twitter and said he might throw hands on him. "Sometimes you just need to run before I get to you cause when I lands it’s hard still. If I were you I’d start praying," he tweeted.

But after some time he involved his lawyers from Tailor Made Lawyers. They said the allegations are false and are damaging to JazziQ.

In the statement, they wrote that their video "maliciously defames Tumelo Manyoni (his real name). While we do not know where the heinous allegations levelled against Mr. Manyoni emenate from, we do know the following:

  1. The allegations are void of any truth and are harmful
  2. The facts around Mr. Manyoni's conduct and whereabouts, as explained by Reatlegile Gopane are worrisomely inaccurate, and;
  3. The allegations have had a severe impact on Mr. Manyoni both emotionally and psychologically."

Their demands are that the crew "publicly withdraw their comments and apologise, as well as remove the video from it's entirety from the channel. That includes on ALL social media platforms.

The ESAM crew clearly refused to comply so JazziQ will now  "pursue the matter civilly and criminally."
