In the quest to find his biological father, Wandile and his grandmother share their pain.
Yet another heart-wrenching episode of Utatakho brought us close to tears as Nimrod Nkosi and his team assist in the best way possible to help people find their biological fathers.
This week was no different as a young man by the name of Wandile fought against the odds to find out who his biological father is, despite his stone-cold mother being adamant that he would never find out the truth.
Wandile shared the sad story of how his late father used to remind him that he was not his biological father.
With the words of his late father still ringing in his ears, Wandile tried to get the truth from his mother, but she was hell-bent on him not finding out the truth.
Wandile shocked us when he mentioned that his mother had promised to make his life a living hell should he continue his pursuit of his biological father.
What kind of mother is that?
Our frustration towards Wandile’s mother became greater when Wandile’s maternal grandmother revealed that her own daughter had been verbally abusing her just because she was supportive of Wandile’s pursuit.
Wandile’s grandmother cried countless times and explained how his mom’s actions had caused a great rift within the family.
Thank goodness Wandile’s mom was not shown on screen for her own sake, because knowing how social media rolls, they would probably have hunted her down by now.
Thankfully, Wandile eventually found his biological father, and that brought tears to his grandmother. Even Nimrod was close to tears.

I don't understand women. We always complain of absent fathers and yet we're the cause. Yho!!! #utatakho
