Mampintsha’s memorial service was held on Thursday at the eThekwini Community Church in Durban. Babes remained strong and celebrated the life of her late husband. When Big Nuz's latest chart-topping Ngeke played during the proceeding, she stood up with her child Sponge Woduno and danced to the song.
Her fans took to social media to show love to Babes for being strong and celebrating her husband. Others reckoned that would have done the same to her.Nhlanhla Caps Majozi wrote "May God give you strength during this extremely difficult time, we mourn in different ways, yilento vele ebesinazi ngayo ninoMampintsha ingoma nomdanso umuntu uphelezelwa ngento abeythanda RIP Shimora
DJ Tira has advised Babes to work on her career. “Babes must go back to the top of the charts. When she joined the music industry she was charging R100,000 per gig. You [Babes] should not be comfortable [with earning less] and you need to get out of your comfort zone if you want to go back to the top. You need to work hard and have a focus. Also, we still have Sponge [Babes’ child] to raise because Mampintsha is no longer with us. We as his friends, we will do anything for him [Mampintsha],” said Tira.Image Cred: Twitter
