Why does Uzalo keep playing with our emotions?

Can someone please explain to us why Uzalo is playing with our emotions like this?

Wednesday night’s episode of the drama series had to be one of the most riveting episodes thus far, well, apart from the episode when Gxabashe buried his own son and wife alive… that was intense.

However, most South African viewers were collecting their jaws from the floor after Nombuso, played by Thandeka Zulu, was shot in the back after desperately trying to tell Mxolosi and Ayanda the damning truth about their terrible switch at birth.

Now we’re not sure if Nombuso will survive the bullet wound, as the episode ended with the shooting, but our poor hearts just couldn’t take it.

Why is it that whenever someone is trying to reveal the truth about Ayanda and Mxoloi’s story, someone gets injured or killed?

Could Uzalo’s writers have written off Nombuso already?  We sure hope not, her feud with Ayanda and her having a miscarriage is one of the reasons why we make a date with the show every night when it’s airing.

Besides Nombuso getting shot, another incident that rubbed us off the wrong way was when Ayanda slept with Nosipho, his biological sister just after praying to God for forgiveness.

Really, Ayanda?

It seems like Ayanda is just rubbing off viewers the wrong way, especially considering that it was his fault that Nombuso had a miscarriage.

It's clear that most viewers were as hurt as us when Nombuso got shot:

Uzalo writers please stop doing this to us and please don't kill off Nombuso, asseblief toe!
