Renowned television and radio presenter Luthando Shosha, best known as Lootlove is certainly winning at this life thing. She is currently the host of Africa’s number one playlist and radio show on Apple Music, Africa Is Now, and has recently been announced as a new presenter of the competition fashion show, Battle of The Ankara on Honey TV channel 173 on DStv, all while raising two adorable daughters and focusing on her mental health.
You might have not seen a lot of Lootlove online in the past few weeks because she had taken a necessary social media hiatus. She did deactivate her Twitter account and does not seem to be coming back anytime soon due to a lot of negativity from the app. The media personality told Drum in her latest interview that it is important to take a break from social media and urged everyone to do the same.
"A lot of us are afraid to leave social media platforms, but it's important to step away from things that no longer serve you or take a break. I don’t post as much as I used to, there's so much pressure to do certain things or be a certain way. We've been taught to constantly post but if it's too much, leave the platform, and you'll be fine." said Luthando.
Upon her return to Instagram, the star is living her best life in California at one of the world’s biggest music and arts festivals that happens over a weekend, Coachella. Lootlove took to Instagram images of her killing the Coachella themed fashion and rubbing shoulders with A-List Hollywood names such as South Africa’s very own Doja Cat.
The star’s trip to Coachella was made possible by luxury automobile brand BMW South Africa as we saw Lootlove embark on Road To Coachella in their all-new and fully electric BMW i4 branded in Coachella artwork.
Lootlove who also remains a popular fashionista served looks on all Coachella days and was not shy to admit that a lot of people at the festival gushed over her looks and asked to take so many photos with her. “I’m not gonna lie, I looked really good at Coachella… I took so many pictures with a lot of people because they were loving my outfit,” the presenter shared on her Instagram stories. On day one of Coachella, Lootlove wore the latest collection piece from local design brand Ezokhetho by Mpumelelo Dhlamini. This was a multi-coloured silk bomber jacket with zebra prints, with colours purple, black, white, and green complementing each other perfectly. She paired it with a pair of black fishnet leggings and a black bum short, a Coachella staple if you ask me.
Day two saw Lootlove posing next to the new BMW i4 in an all black outfit. A bodycon dress and boots with accessories all from H7M South Africa. The star humbly captioned her Instagram post, “A moment with Miss Doja Cat,” cause it’s just another casual meet up for Lootlove right?
She continued serving look throughout the festival and even claimed that she won Coachella. The star even dubbed the event “Loochella.”
