Male or female, you would do well to look to King Kotini for some style inspo as the mercury drops

Could there be a collaboration between ASAP and Riky

Riky Rick recently went to Paris, and he did some serious style flexxin' on the 'gram, demostrating his flair for carrying fashion trends with style, because, obvs, not everyone knows how to! So, here are just a few winter fashion trends we are definitely looking forward to rocking, that King Kotini has already beeeeeeeeen rocking.

As if he isn't already screaming "luxe" with everything he puts on, Riky Rick had to go and put on this fab red patent coat, expertly matching it with a mustard roll-neck, and bottle green pants (from the image, looks like the colour known as "lush meadow" in fashion circles). Colour is very much in this winter, so rock away!

Bomb up your closet

Bomb up your closet

The bomber jacket went mainstream in 2016. As the Highsnobiety blog notes, it was the most searched for trend of 2016 on Google. Of course down south we tend to always be playing catch-up, but the bomber is definitely becoming a thing here too, and if your eyes are always on the streets, peeping what's good as far as the street style goes, you'll realise peeps are on it!

Not wearing outerwear properly

There's something very swaggy about not wearing your outerwear properly. This is especially true with jackets, and everyone from Rihanna, to the trendy folk on the streets of Braamfontein is doing it. We dig how Riky combines the two trends, above.

Okay. 'Amabala' doesn't quite mean 'prints'. It means 'spots', but what the heck? You know what we just did there, right? Riky often rocks prints, and beautifully so. If you have none for your closet this winter, get 'em! We're in Africa, after all, and dark winters are not really our thing! So add some fun to your looks by throwing on touches of print here and there!

Swag like King Kotini himself ;)
