If rumours are anything to go by Hlaudi Motsoeneng may be the latest Zaleb to get his own reality show
The ex SABC big-wig turned politician has reportedly been offered a deal by DStv channel Moja Love to give viewers a glimpse into his personal life.
According to Sunday World, a film company is already in pre-production for the show, which will follow one of Mzansi's most controversial - and meme-worthy stars - as he tackles life both in and out of the public eye.
The former SABC Chief Operating Officer, widely known for his sharp tongue, has faced a dismal past few months with his new political party African Content Movement (ACM) flopping in the recent elections and forgoing a spot at the National Assembly. He's also been accused of abusing his power and improper conduct whilst at the SABC, with allegations of him interfering with the editorial content. According to reports, he also received over R1 million pay-out from corruption-accused company Bosasa. Then there's the case of his daughter whose appointment by family friend, ex Public Service and Administration Minister Faith Muthambi, raised a few eyebrows.
Hlaudi is not the only questionable star whose reality show is set for TV screens
Controversial couple Shauwn and Sbu Mpisane, along with their brood - daughter Sbahle aka Fitness Bunnie and son Andile - have landed a reality show called ‘Durban Royalty’.
The show will follow the wealthy family's day-to-day life, including their love of flashing the cash for brands like Versace and Gucci, jet-setting all over the world and partying with other stars.
Then there’s Serge 'the Blesser' Cabonge, a Congolese businessman based in Jozi, whose reality show will cover his lavish lifestyle and his fondness for younger girls.
Serge posted of his show; "I can’t wait for u to see what I have been up in the United States of America, the reality of Blesser lifestyle coming to your TV screens very soon."
We can just imagine the ratings going through the roof. Especially with Hlaudi’s no-holds-barred attitude and his diva-esque demands.
Now just the name...
How about 'Hlaudi, with a chance of drama?'
