Zozibini breaks her silence following former Miss USA Cheslie's passing

Model and former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi has reacted to the untimely passing of former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, who died on Sunday morning.

The model took her fatal fall from her luxury combo in the New York City and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Following her tragic passing, South African's have been keeping Zozibini in their prayers.

The model has taken to her Instagram account to break her silence following the tragic passing of her former housemate and she is heartbroken to the core.

In a post she said she is devastated by her death and paid tribute to her. "Cheslie my friend, I am devastated. I didn't sleep a wink, caught in between not believing the news and trying to make sense of what is happening. You were supposed to send me photos of the outfit you were going to wear to a wedding this past Saturday and all the details that happened at the event. You took me by surprise Queen. I am not ready for a world you don't exist in.

I hope you are resting easy now love.You meant everything to so many people and you forever will. You made a mark in this World and touched so many lives. We celebrate your life. I love you so, so much my forever friend and forever Miss USA," she wrote.

The Miss Universe Twitter account express its sadness following Cheslie's passing "We are devastated to learn about the loss of Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst. She was one of the brightest, warmest, and most kind people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. Our entire community mourns her loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family right now."

According to the New York Post, Cheslie left a suicide note behind and said all of her possessions should be left to her mother.

Her family confirmed the tragic news in a heartbreaking statement. “In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.

“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA,. But most importantly as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague — we know her impact will live on.
