In April 2017, hip-hop artist and producer JR launched the first season of his Youtube series Feel Good Live Sessions where he brought renowned artists like Kwesta, Moneoa and Shekinah to perform acoustic versions of their best hits.

With the series having received a number of good reviews on social media and currently sitting at 32 thousand subscribers, JR announced that the second season of the show would air on MTV Base.

JR has been striding in the music industry and is behind some of the greatest hits from some of your favourite artists like AKA and more. The entertainer recently celebrated a decade in the industry, and judging from the accolades he has received, it has definitely been a great journey.

"#10GOODYEARS. It has been a wonderful journey. A decade dedicated to writing the best music to come of the homeland... @johnnymalepa made this and I just fell in love with how it encapsulates my contribution to the ever-growing scene. Here’s to another 10 Years of FEEL GOOD MUSIC. I called my company that because I always believed that music is ever changing and in saying that I believe that “It doesn’t have to be good or sound good... it just has to FEEL GOOD” he wrote, in a recent social media post.

His close celebrity friend, AKA took to his social media to congratulate him on the major move to television, writing: "Congratulations @JRafrika on the debut of #FeelGoodLiveSessions on TV ... I know you and your team worked extremely hard to make this a reality. Proud of you bro"
