Liesl Laurie was thrust into the spotlight when she entered Miss Soweto almost a decade ago and shortly after that, the starlet was crowned Miss South Africa in 2015.

A couple of months ago, Liesl bagged a weekend show on Jacaranda FM. Speaking about her appointment, this is what she had to say: “Music has always played a major part in my life, ever since I was a little girl. I’m the one who will blast a song and sing along at the top of my lungs even if I don’t know all the lyrics, so many people in traffic have enjoyed my impromptu performances when I forgot that the window's open, whether they liked it or not!
