The world has been hit with the Coronavirus and everyday there are numerous updates that are given to show how serious the virus is.

It has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the number of people who contracted it in Mzansi have risen. However, like Mzansi culture, we find humour in tough times and often do not let those tough times prosper.

People like the cast and creators of the hit Mzansi film, Losing Lerato will stop at nothing to ensure they continue with life as normal irregardless of the pandemic. The Losing Lerato team jetted off to US in a bid to promote the film after a whopping 6 nods in California.

They flew to Washington DC so the film reaches a new market and partner with relevant industry people to help support South African productions. The US is one of the countries with reported and confirmed cases of citizens contracting the virus.

In a video shared by producer Kagiso Modupe of he and Thato Molamu, they accompanied it with a caption that reads:

"Team #losinglerato hard at work. Six 6 international nominations coronavirus or not we’re impacting economies around the world, globe trotting representing our country in world stages. Dankie mpilo."
