Masasa has undoubtedly become one of South Africa’s sought after actresses and has managed to solidify herself as a household name with legions of fans. The seasoned and Award-winning actress Masasa Mbangeni, is set to make her triumphant comeback on the popular sudser after her controversial exit in 2016.
The biggest departure in television set tongues wagging and raised eyebrows, after she announced, she was exiting to pursue other interests. Masasa played the conniving and ruthless role of Thembeka on the Soapie. Masasa is expected will wreak havoc as she will reprise her role and has already started filming. She is expected to grace our screens on December 31.

Speaking to Sowetan Live the actress said “I’m so excited to be back. I was quite nervous too because I thought it has been years – a lot of things has changed, but a lot of things have also remained the same,” Mbangeni says During her break, Masasa juggled a couple of acting gigs, from theatre to TV. The Thespian also headed back to further her studies.
We certainly look forward to her much-anticipated comeback.
